Description: Hinsdale Adventist Academy (HAA), a thriving Seventh-day Adventist private school, is seeking a dynamic, mission-driven Principal to lead our educational ministry with vision, passion, and purpose. Our school serves a diverse student body and is committed to academic excellence, spiritual growth, and Christ-centered discipleship. 

HAA is nestled in the beautiful and historic Village of Hinsdale, IL, twenty miles from downtown Chicago, providing rich opportunities for exploring cultural and educational venues. HAA is the only full–PK through 12th grade–Adventist Academy in the state of Illinois. The school is supported by five constituent churches, four Adventist hospitals and has a highly professional and supportive resource board. 

We are looking for a leader who will champion our school’s mission and work closely with staff, students, families, and the broader community to provide a spiritually sound and academically excellent environment.

Qualifications:

• Holds or is eligible to receive North American Division (NAD) Administrators certification. 
• Demonstrated spiritual leadership and a clear passion for the development and discipleship of young people 
• Skilled in building strong, collaborative relationships with constituent pastors and church communities 
• Experience conducting staff performance evaluations and promoting a culture of growth 
• Comfortable with educational software & technology, including Google Education Suite, FACTS/RenWeb, and MAP assessments 
• Demonstrated instructional leadership- Familiar with both Elementary and Secondary curriculum
• Highly organized, with strong communication and follow-through skills
  
   
• Ability to nurture connections with local AdventHealth hospital executives and community partners
  
   
• Able to oversee facilities and financial operations in partnership with the school board and finance Chair and Business Manager.

The candidate should be an active member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church who is committed to providing high-quality leadership and instruction from an Adventist Christian perspective.  This is a 12- month salaried full-time position that would begin on July 1, 2025 (or a month earlier on June 1, 2025).
