Job Summary

Dallas Christian Academy is seeking a dedicated and spiritually committed 1st & 2nd Grade Teacher to inspire students academically and spiritually. The ideal candidate will integrate faith into learning, foster a Christ-centered environment, and uphold the values of the Seventh-day Adventist Church."

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, Christ-centered instruction aligned with the Adventist curriculum
  • Foster a positive, nurturing, and spiritually enriching classroom environment
  • Integrate faith and learning while promoting academic excellence
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet diverse learning needs
  • Collaborate with school staff, parents, and the church community to support student development
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and communication with parents and administration
  • Participating in school activities, professional development, and staff meetings
  • Uphold school policies, safety standards, and Adventist educational principles
Required Experience

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Elementary education from an accredited institution
  • Denominational teaching certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Active membership in the Seventh-day Adventist Church
  • Experience in teaching in Elementary (grade 1 & 2) preferred
  • Strong commitment to integrating faith and learning
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to inspire and engage students in a Christ-centered environment
