• Pleasant Hill Adventist Academy is seeking a part-time music teacher for grades K-12. PHAA is a K-12 school that serves approximately 120 students in the beautiful bay area of east of San Francisco. The idea candidate will foster a positive, supportive classroom environment where students can develop musical skills, creativity, teamwork and discipline. Regular feedback and assessments regarding student progress, open communication with parents/guardians and instilling SDA Christian values into all aspects of the music instruction is an expectation.
• The music teacher is responsible for the music library, working within a given budget, repair and purchase new music equipment etc.
• Other specific responsibilities are to lead ensembles, (handbells, choirs, and ensembles).
