Houston Adventist Academy (HAA) is a growing PreK-12 institution situated in Cypress, TX, a suburb of Houston. It has an enrollment of approximately 204 students, the support of a dedicated school board, and an engaged church community. 
HAA is seeking a dedicated and passionate 1st and 2nd Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide a nurturing and engaging learning environment that supports young children's developmental, spiritual, social, emotional, and academic growth. This individual should be committed to fostering a love for learning through interactive projects, hands-on activities, and age-appropriate curriculum. 

Key Responsibilities: 

•    Teach all core subjects, including Bible, integrating faith into daily instruction.
•    Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that reflects Christian values.
•    Support students in developing reading fluency, writing, math reasoning, and early science concepts.
•    Use differentiated instruction and assessments to meet diverse learning needs.
•    Assess student progress regularly and adapt instruction accordingly.
•    Communicate openly with parents, staff, and administration.
•    Engage in professional development and contribute to the school’s mission.

Qualifications: 

•    Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education (preferably).
•    NAD Teaching Certification (or ability to obtain).
•    Active member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
•    Strong communication, organizational, and classroom leadership skills.
•    Passion for working with young children and supporting their spiritual growth.
