Union Springs Academy (grades 9-12, boarding academy) in the beautiful Fingerlakes region of upstate NY is seeking a passionate and highly qualified Science Teacher to join our ministry team. 

Responsibilities:

• To Love students into a saving relationship with Jesus.
• To minister to students through Science and the opportunities afforded within the class room setting
• Develop and deliver engaging science lessons aligned with curriculum standards
• Integrate a biblical worldview into lesson planning and classroom activities
• Actively engage students outside the class while carrying out various responsibilities like recreation supervision, class trips, etc.
• Create a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and curiosity
• Assess student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents
• Be an active, positive team player that supports the big picture goals of an Adventist boarding Academy

Required Experience

• A committed Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) with a strong personal faith and a heart for ministry through education
• Bachelor's degree in Science or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred
• Prior teaching experience at the high school level strongly preferred
• Ability to integrate Christian values and a biblical worldview into all areas of instruction
