Description

The Associate Superintendent is responsible for the supervision and administration of elementary schools as directed by the Vice President for Education. As a team player, responsibilities include visioning, goal setting, planning, directing, evaluating, supervising, coordinating, decision making, communicating, and improving teaching and learning.

Required Experience
  • Must have an expressed commitment to Jesus Christ, the teachings and mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, be a Seventh-day Adventist church member in regular standing, with a desire to serve in a cooperative, spiritually redemptive, and soul-winning atmosphere 
  • Practice confidentiality of information at all times 
  • Must be knowledgeable of educational operating and personnel policy procedures of the Seventh-day Adventist Church 
  • Master Degree with current denominational certificate and Administrative endorsement 
  • School administration experience 
  • Substantial teaching experience 
  • Recognized people skills 
  • Recognized organizational and planning skills 
  • Speak and write English fluently
