The Opportunity: Chisholm Trail Academy is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to serve as our Athletic Director. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated self-starter who is deeply passionate about fostering the holistic development of students – spiritually, physically, socially, and emotionally – through the power of sports and physical education. The ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented, exceptionally organized, and possess outstanding communication skills.

As the Athletic Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the athletic experience for our students and be supportive of the school’s philosophy that emphasizes God first, family & academics second, and then athletics.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing all league responsibilities, including attending meetings and efficiently handling game scheduling and rescheduling.
• Attend games and other athletic events to ensure proper supervision of our student-athletes and fans.
• Coordinating reliable transportation for all athletic events. 
• Maintaining proactive and timely communication with parents, students, and school staff. 
• Oversee the maintenance and ongoing improvement of all athletic facilities. 
• Ensuring the proper care, inventory, and management of all athletic department equipment. 
• Recruit, train, and mentor volunteer coaches, ensuring alignment with the school's mission and vision.
• Teaching classes as needed, and/or performing building maintenance and upkeep.

Qualifications:

• Certified to teach in Seventh-day Adventist schools, preferably with a PE endorsement (additional endorsements are encouraged).
• Supportive of and live in accordance with the values of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Eligible to be employed in the Texas Conference of Seventh-day Adventists.
• A CDL holder (or willingness to obtain one), highly encouraged. 
• Active member in the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
• Strong commitment to integrating faith and learning.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. 
• Ability to inspire and engage students in a Christ-centered environment.
