La Sierra Academy is currently seeking a History teacher to be part of our team for the 2025-2026 school year. La Sierra Academy is a CC-12 day Academy located in Riverside, California.. La Sierra Academy has been providing excellence in Adventist Education since 1922.

The history teacher at La Sierra Academy will teach United States History, Government, Economics, and other classes, depending on certification and ability.

Required Experience

The ideal candidate will be a dedicated Christian who can bring to our team a passion for Jesus and a passion for excellence in academics, an unwavering commitment to helping all students reach their full potential, and a willingness to engage with students on a personal level inside and outside of class. The ideal candidate will have completed a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in History and Education, and preference given for candidates with a master’s degree. While previous teaching experience is helpful, La Sierra Academy is committed to finding the right fit for our team. New teachers will find the school to be a supportive environment that creates an atmosphere essential for success.

Candidates must be members of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church.  All candidates must be eligible to work in the United States.
