Gr. 1-8 Mission-Minded Teacher/Principal Needed in SW Oregon

Madrone Adventist Elementary School in Cave Junction, OR
North Pacific Union Conference | Oregon Conference of SDA
Description

Are you a mission-minded Adventist Christian teacher/leader with a student-centered focus? Madrone Adventist Elementary School is seeking a teaching principal who will teach grades 1-8 for the 2025-26 school year and beyond. Madrone is located in Cave Junction, Oregon, in the southwestern part of the state, about 30 miles southwest of Grants Pass, which is the nearest larger city and a common access point via Interstate 5. Cave Junction, surrounded by forested hills and near the northern edge of the Siskiyou Mountains, is also roughly 55 miles from the Pacific Coast, with Brookings being the closest coastal city via U.S. Highway 199, a scenic route that connects the inland valley to the southern Oregon coast.

Madrone Adventist Elementary School is seeking a caring, professional, and organized teacher who loves Jesus, demonstrates strong leadership skills, and brings creativity to the classroom. This individual will not only teach students but also serve as the school’s principal, supported by a dedicated staff and school board. As the educational and spiritual leader, you will play a vital role in creating a positive, Christ-centered environment that promotes both student growth and academic excellence. A sincere commitment to spiritual leadership is essential, as the school is an important outreach ministry within the community. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, are also critical for success in this role.
