Sandia View Academy is looking for a Principal for the 2025-2026 school year. SVA, situated along the scenic banks of the Rio Grande in Corrales, New Mexico is looking for a visionary leader that is knowledgeable of best practices in education and can continue to move the school forward. This person will inspire, as well as help coach the staff to the next level of possibilities. SVA is a small school of 47 students from the 9 constituent churches as well as the community. The academy is nestled in a picturesque oasis, surrounded by the breathtaking Sandia Mountains to the east and the captivating Rio Grande Valley to the west. Our location, just south of Santa Fe, offers proximity to winter sports and the rich artistic heritage of central Santa Fe, contributing to the enchanting atmosphere that defines New Mexico.

The successful candidate will have: Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills; Deep understanding and commitment to Adventist educational philosophy and values

This opening is for the 2025-2026 school year and is a 12-month assignment which starts July 1, 2025. The candidate must be in regular standing with the Seventh-day Adventist Church. The candidate must be able to work in the United States at the time of application. The successful candidate will have the following qualifications: 1) Secondary Education degree  2) Current NAD certification; 3) 2-3 years in a leadership roll; 4) Willing and able to post grades and progress reports for online access; 5) Team player; 6) Most importantly, the applicant must possess a love for God, a love for working with children, and a desire to see each child in Heaven.
