Description

College Park Christian Preschool is seeking a committed and experienced Director to lead our nurturing and faith-based early childhood education program. This full-time position (Monday through Friday, 6:50 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.) offers an annual salary of $55,000 with limited medical benefits. Moving expenses will not be covered. The Director is responsible for overseeing daily operations including staff scheduling, classroom observation and mentoring, financial management (including QuickBooks entries, payroll, and deposits), and communication with families. Additional responsibilities include maintaining student records, handling tuition payments, organizing events and professional development days, and ensuring compliance with licensing and accreditation requirements.

The ideal candidate will be a highly organized, proactive leader who is passionate about early childhood education and a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Monthly tasks include preparing financial reports, coordinating board meetings, and conducting staff evaluations. The Director will also manage hiring, onboarding, staff benefits tracking, and planning annual budgets and school calendars. Experience with Brightwheel, QuickBooks, and basic HR functions is preferred. This is a dynamic role that calls for strong interpersonal, administrative, and leadership skills to maintain the high standards of care and education our families have come to expect.
