Description

Indianapolis Junior Academy is seeking a dedicated and mission-minded 6th–8th grade multi-grade teacher for the 2025–2026 school year. This is a full-time position with full benefits.

We are looking for an enthusiastic educator who is committed to providing a nurturing, Christ-centered academic environment and who thrives in a multi-grade classroom setting. The ideal candidate will inspire students both spiritually and academically, modeling a life of faith and learning.

Required Experience
  • A committed Seventh-day Adventist in good standing
  • A bachelor’s degree (or higher) in education
  • Eligible to work in the United States (US citizenship required)
  • Experience or willingness to work in a multi-grade setting
  • Strong classroom management and organizational skills
  • A passion for Christian education and student spiritual growth

Our mission is to provide our students a nurturing, Christ-centered academic program of excellence that will empower them to impact the world for the glory of God.

We are currently serving students in grades K-8 with hopes and plans of re-opening our pre-k program. We are nestled in the Glendale area, just east of Keystone Ave., off of 62nd St., tucked behind the Glendale Seventh-day Adventist church. We are accredited by both the National Council for Private Schools and the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists. The education program of Indianapolis Junior Academy includes preparation for life on this earth, as well as life in heaven. It is also in harmony with the educational standards of the Seventh-day Adventist church and the state of Indiana.
