A lead teacher is one designated by the Superintendent of Schools, in
collaboration with the local school board. The person selected as lead
teacher serves in capacity of school leader, but not at the level of principal
or head teacher.
Requirements
• Practicing member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church
• Achieved no less than a bachelor’s degree
• Local Fingerprint and Background Check clearance
• Sterling Volunteers clearance
Qualifications
• Eligible for denominational administration endorsement
• Eligible for denominational teacher certificate
• Adventist K-8 school experience/training preferred
• Administrative experience and/or training preferred
• Prior teaching experience preferred
• Effective business management skills
• Effective interpersonal skills
