Susanville Adventist Christian School (SACS) in Susanville, CA is seeking a grades 1-8 teacher for the 2025-2026 school year.  While the position is for a teaching principal, the school does provide a teacher's aide/office assistant.  The school board members are also very supportive. They assist in teaching classes, organizing fundraisers, and helping out at school events.

The salary for this position is based on the wage scale determined by certification and years of experience with a range of $49,296 to $66,976.  The Nevada Utah Conference also provides a cost of living increase in addition to the salary range. 

Susanville is in Lassen County about 80 miles Northwest of Reno near beautiful Eagle Lake.  The surrounding area provides the perfect location to explore the great outdoors with over 60 miles of trails for hiking, biking, cross country skiing, or horseback riding.

Qualified candidates will... 

* be an active member in good standing of the Seventh-day Adventist Church 

* have a minimum of a bachelor's degree 

* hold or be able to obtain a NAD teaching credential 

* have teaching experience, preferably in a multi-grade setting
