S.A.L.T. (Soul-winning And Leadership Training) aims to equip and empower students to know, share, and defend their faith. The SALT Program is run in partnership with It Is Written.

  • Coordinate SALT students in their Bible work outreach
  • Serve as administrative assistant to the SALT program director
  • Teach SALT classes and provide training
  • Promote the SALT Program and recruit students
  • Act as registrar for the SALT Program
  • Assist with the overall SALT evangelism cycle in the SALT host church
  • Work in harmony with It Is Written which serves as sponsor and partner for the SALT Program and with Union Adventist University's Religion Department
Required Experience
  • Must be currently authorized to work lawfully in the United States
  • An expressed commitment to Jesus Christ and the teachings and mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church; must be a SDA church member in good and regular standing
  • A master's degree is preferred
  • At least six months of experience as a full-time Bible worker/Bible work coordiantor
  • Previous completion of a four-month or longer evangelism training program
  • Experience and competency in door-to-door work
  • Experience working with public evangelistic meeings is preferred
  • Strong relational and leadership skills. Be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Ability to manage both details and people capably. Good public relations skills. Oral, written, and audio-visual communication skills. Strong recruiting skills
  • Ability to train and mentor others
