7th Grade Homeroom / Junior High Teacher
Tualatin Valley Academy is searching for a full-time teacher to serve as the 7th grade homeroom teacher and also teach 8th grade classes. We are looking for a caring, creative, and energetic teacher who has a passion for Christ and is ready to minister to middle school students. The ideal candidate will be ready to join a team of hardworking staff who create a welcoming and supportive environment for students and families.
TVA provides exceptional education to students from preschool through 12th grade. The 2025–2026 school year will be our first as a full PK–12 academy. Our Christ-centered, standards-based curriculum includes a STEAM focus with interactive experiences. TVA is located about 25 miles west of Portland in the diverse, growing city of Hillsboro, which is home to high-tech companies and family-oriented neighborhoods.
Required Qualifications and Experience
We are searching for someone who is committed to growing as an educator, active in serving the community, has a passion for educational ministry, and can use a wide variety of strategies, resources, and classroom management skills to meet the needs of students and prepare them with skills for the 21st century
