Roanoke Adventist Christian School is a multi-ethnic one teacher K-8 elementary school located near the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains in Roanoke, VA. Our mission is to provide a Christ-centered education in a safe environment where students develop a personal relationship with Jesus and achieve academic excellence.
The teaching principal will oversee all administrative aspect of the school. They will work closely with the aide who will share the teaching load.
Applicants should have: experience in one-teacher SDA schools and instructional strategies of grades K-8; be a strong spiritual leader; have a working knowledge of school finances and the ability to stay within an approved budget; proficiency with technology; and, strong communication and organizational skills. A background in math and science/STEM is preferred.
Applicants should hold valid North American Division Teacher Certification and be a Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing. Salary and benefits are based on the denominational wage scale and policy. Must be eligible to be employed in the United States. Applications are accepted through July 15,2025.
