The Assistant Girls’ Dean works under the leadership of the Head Girls’ Dean to create a safe, supportive, and Christ-centered dormitory environment. This live-in role is ideal for someone passionate about mentoring young women, fostering community, and supporting student growth in a boarding school setting.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support daily operations of the girls’ dormitory, including supervision, room checks, and evening activities
  • Serve as a positive spiritual role model and mentor for female students
  • Assist in planning and leading dorm worships, weekend programming, and student life activities
  • Maintain a safe and orderly dorm environment and uphold school policies
  • Provide emotional and academic support to students in collaboration with the dean team, teachers, and staff
  • Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities
  • Rotate weekend and evening duties with the dean team

Required Experience
  • Committed member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in good standing
  • Previous experience working with teenagers in a residential, camp, or school setting
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Ability to maintain appropriate boundaries while building trust and rapport with students
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
  • Applicants must have the legal right to work in the United States and be able to provide proof of such.
