Description

Collegedale Academy (CA) is an ECEC thru 12th grade school of approximately 900 students, located on the campus of Southern Adventist University in Collegedale, Tennessee.  Our mission statement motto “educate, equip, inspire, serve” is at the core of what happens on campus.  CA has an opening for a full-time, system analyst.  This position works closely with the CA Director of IT.  The position requires an innate understanding of IT, in relationship to a school setting working with staff and students.

Required Experience

A qualified candidate must possess strong computer skills, and ability to work in information systems, and an ability to work within a group. This position is broad in scope, with a key requirement being an attitude of kindness and generosity toward all students, staff and parents.  Duties in addition to general Help Desk (in which all team members participate) may be decided based on the talents and expertise of the applicant. The following are some of the technologies currently used at Collegedale Academy.   Familiarity with one or more of these is useful, but not  required:

Aruba switches and Aps, Audio Enhancement, ClassLink, Device Management (Intune, Google Workspace, Mosyle), Equipment Repair, FortiGate Firewall, FreePBX, GoGuardian, Google, AD, Entra ID Management, Hyper-V, Kea DHCP, KnowBe4, Livestreaming and P/A, Microsoft (Office & SharePoint), SALTO systems, Video Surveillance System, Networking and Security, PaperCut, PowerSchool, Schoology, Smart Boards, Ticket and Inventory Management

This position carries full Adventist employee benefits such as medical, subsidy, and retirement.  Additional duties will be assigned as needed by CA’s Administrative Committee.  These duties may include SA sponsorship, class sponsorship, mission trip responsibilities, etc.

The ideal candidate will have earned a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a related field, however experience is highly considered.  Applicant must be an active member in good standing of the Adventist church.
