Description

Central California Conference (CCC) is seeking an innovative, forward-thinking, and strategic leader to serve as the Vice President for Education (Superintendent of Schools). The candidate is an experienced teacher and administrator with a deep commitment to the mission of Adventist education, educational excellence, student achievement, and community building. The candidate is someone who can continue to support and promote Standards-Based Learning across the conference, as well as provide curriculum and instructional leadership.

The VP for Education is responsible for the comprehensive leadership and management of 19 schools in CCC. The VP works closely with Associate Superintendents in the Education Department and the Board of Education to set a clear vision for the conference, along with developing a collaborative environment that promotes student success and professional growth for teachers and administrators.

Required Experience

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Master's Degree from an accredited institution
  • Teaching experience
  • Holds NAD Professional Teacher and Administrative credentials
  • Supportive of Adventist beliefs and a member in good standing
  • Strong collaborator
  • Possesses vision and strategic leadership
  • Effective communicator
  • Able to handle crisis and problem management

The salary range for this position is based on the North American Division certification, experience, and cost-of-living adjustment.
