Bakersfield Adventist Academy (BAA) is looking for  a 7th/8th grade teacher for the 25-26 school year.    BAA is looking for a teacher that is Christ centered and has a passion for teaching.   They must be a team player and be able to collaborate with other staff members.    This position is for multi subjects at the 7/8 grade level.      BAA is a growing school that is developing a thriving and healthy culture.    BAA has a strong athletic and music program as well.  

BAA is looking for a teacher with some teaching experience (preferred) and  should have NAD teacher certification or be eligible to complete their certification.   Experience with SBL and teaching at the 7/8 level is preferred as well.   BAA is only over the hill from Los Angeles, but has the peacefulness of a small town in the valley.   There is an Adventist Hospital in town along with a number of constituent churches that help to support the school.  Salary range is  $56,181-$72,397  (will be prorated based on start date)
