Lake City Academy is excited to welcome a passionate and dedicated part-time Physical Education instructor to our thriving teaching community. The ideal candidate believes in the benefits of healthful living, is engaging to students in grades K-8, and is able to operate a respectful classroom/gymnasium environment. While this is a part-time position, there is the potential to transition into a full-time role. A full-time position would include additional teaching responsibilities, particularly in middle school, based on the candidate’s demonstrated qualifications and the school’s evolving needs.

Our growing program has been blessed with a vibrant community of local Adventist churches and a highly supportive school family. The school serves approximately 180 students in PreK-8th grade. You’ll be joining a dynamic and diverse team of educators at LCA with full use of our beautifully maintained gymnasium and large outdoor field space.

Part-Time Hours

Monday-Thursday. 19 Hours per week.

Applicants must be regular members in good standing with the Seventh-day Adventist church and must hold a Bachelor’s degree. Experience in teaching physical education, coaching, or a related field is strongly desired. Current NAD certification is preferred.

All applicants must be eligible to work in the United States and be able to provide evidence of such. The North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists' denominational policies and wage scale determine remuneration.
