Winter Haven is a beautiful lake-filled city in the heart of Florida. It is a growing community centrally located to all the major attractions and home to LEGOLAND USA. The Winter Haven SDA Church on Avenue K is the only constituent church for Winter Haven Adventist Academy; however, students come from five area SDA churches and the public, representing an ethnically diverse population. Warm and friendly, the church provides a supportive and caring atmosphere for growing young Christians and has maintained a small school for many years. Recent school growth has increased enrollment to about 65 students. The school has three classroom teachers in addition to the principal. WHAA has an opening for a dedicated, caring, dynamic, and Christ-filled teaching principal for the upcoming school year (beginning July 1, 2026), whose responsibilities would include teaching grades 3-5. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, a collaborative spirit, and a passion for children and educational excellence. Applicants for this position must model Christ-like behavior and attitudes which will positively impact students in leading them to Christ.
