Executive Assistant to VP for Education

Description

Full-time position.  Comprehensive executive and administrative support to the Vice President of Education.  Performs a wide range of administrative, clerical, and project coordination responsibilities that suppots overall operations of the Education Department. Role requires a high level of professionalism, discretion, initiative, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities. The position supports the mission, values, and educational goals of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Required Experience

BA degree in office administration, education, or a related field preferred.  Completion of a two-year business college program or equivalent experience.  Minimum of two year of prior office or administrative experience, preferably in an educational setting.

  • Knowledge of the Seventh-day Adventist Church organization and education system preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to perform accurate and thorough work.
  • Ability to adapt to fluctuating priorities and changing situations.
  • Strong office, computer, and telephone skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work under pressure and with frequent interruptions.
  • Strong command of the English language, grammar, and written communication.
