Sandia View Academy (SVA) is seeking a mission-driven, highly effective secondary principal to lead its 9–12 program during a pivotal season of renewal and growth. After successfully navigating campus restoration and modernization, the school is positioned for its next chapter—strengthening academic outcomes, expanding enrollment, and advancing toward a future permanent facility supported by active architectural planning.
This position is ideal for a seasoned secondary administrator who thrives in small-school environments, understands the dynamics of growth, and is committed to data-informed instructional leadership. The principal will work collaboratively with the Conference and school board to implement the strategic initiatives that has been recently reconstructed to support student achievement, teacher development, and mission alignment.
This opening is for the 2026-2027 school year and is a 12-month assignment which starts July 1, 2026. The candidate must be in regular standing with the Seventh-day Adventist Church. The candidate must be able to work in the United States at the time of application. The successful candidate will have the following qualifications: 1) Secondary Education degree 2) Current NAD certification; 3) 2-3 years in a leadership roll (principal or asst. principal) 4) Team leader; 5) Demonstrate success in academic growth and instructional improvement 6) Most importantly, the applicant must possess a love for God, a love for working with children, and a desire to see each child in Heaven.
