Job Posting: Principal 

The Wisconsin Conference of Seventh-day Adventists is seeking a visionary, mission-driven educational leader to serve as the Administrative Principal of the Milwaukee Seventh-day Adventist School, a thriving two-campus PreK–10 educational ministry serving diverse urban communities.

The Administrative Principal provides spiritual, educational, and operational leadership for both campuses while working collaboratively with campus principals, faculty, school boards, pastors, parents, and the Conference Office of Education to ensure excellence in Adventist Christian education.

This position offers a unique opportunity to lead a multicultural school community committed to academic excellence, student discipleship, and preparing young people for lives of service to Christ.

Responsibilities

  • Provide spiritual leadership that advances the mission and philosophy of Seventh-day Adventist education.
  • Lead the strategic vision and continuous improvement of both school campuses.
  • Supervise and mentor campus principals and instructional staff.
  • Foster a Christ-centered culture focused on academic excellence, student growth, and positive school climate.
  • Oversee curriculum implementation, instructional quality, accreditation, and school improvement initiatives.
  • Manage school operations including budgeting, enrollment growth, staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation in collaboration with Conference administration.
  • Build strong relationships with students, parents, churches, community partners, and school boards.
  • Ensure compliance with Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction requirements, Wisconsin Choice Program regulations, North American Division standards, Lake Union Education Code, and Conference policies.
  • Lead recruitment and retention efforts for students and faculty.
  • Support marketing, community engagement, and fundraising initiatives that strengthen both campuses.
  • Promote collaboration between campuses while honoring the unique strengths of each school community.

 

 

 

 

 

Required Experience

Candidates should possess:

  • Active membership in the Seventh-day Adventist Church with a demonstrated commitment to Adventist beliefs and education.
  • Master's degree in Educational Leadership or related field.
  • Administrative certification or eligibility for certification.
  • Successful teaching and school leadership experience.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience leading diverse teams and multicultural learning communities.
  • Knowledge of curriculum development, instructional leadership, school finance, and strategic planning.
  • Ability to inspire faculty, students, parents, and constituent churches toward a shared mission.
