Inspire Academy is a Seventh-day Adventist virtual elementary school dedicated to nurturing students academically, spiritually, and socially in a Christ-centered environment. We are part of the Indiana Conference and strive to cultivate a strong foundation in faith and learning.

Our virtual school fosters a close-knit, collaborative atmosphere where educators work remotely with their students through digital platforms to provide synchronous, personalized, Christ-centered instruction. Our students log in to class with our teachers Mondays – Thursdays, with Fridays for independent learning (full academic day) and private tutoring with the teachers.

Position Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated lower grades teacher who is passionate about Christian education and committed to inspiring and guiding students in their academic and spiritual growth. Technology skills and ability to motivate students and teach creatively while instructing online are critical components for this position. This role involves teaching core subjects, fostering a positive online classroom environment, and supporting students holistically.

Required Experience
  • Must be a committed Seventh-day Adventist with a passion for Adventist education
  • Bachelor's degree in education or related field (required)
  • Valid NAD teaching certification (preferred) and willingness to obtain Indiana State licensure
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Strong technology skills
  • Ability to integrate Biblical principles into daily instruction
  • Experience in multi-grade classroom settings is a plus
  • Have the legal right to work in the United States

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach multigrade (lower grades), covering core subjects such as Math, Science, Language Arts, and Social Studies, and Bible
  • Plan and implement engaging, faith-based lessons
  • Cultivate a Christ-centered and supportive learning environment
  • Collaborate with students, parents, and fellow faculty members
  • Participate in school and church-related activities
