Description

Highland Academy is seeking a Dean of Women to provide spiritual leadership, mentorship, and residential oversight for female boarding students. This position is central to fostering a safe, nurturing, and Christ-centered dormitory environment that supports student growth academically, socially, and spiritually. Highland is located approximately 45 minutes north of Nashville and sits on approximately 350 acres in a rural setting.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and supervision within the girls’ dormitory
  • Mentor and support female students through guidance, accountability, and discipleship
  • Promote a positive, respectful dorm culture consistent with Adventist values and school policies
  • Support student spiritual life, worships, and campus activities
  • Collaborate with dorm staff, faculty, administration, and parents regarding student well-being
  • Address student conduct concerns with fairness, grace, and consistency
  • Serve as a role model of Christian character and professionalism
  • Display strong relational and communication skills

 

Required Experience

The ideal candidate would have a degree, counseling background, and experience as a dean.  Must be an active member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Must be authorized to work in the USA.
