Do you love sharing Jesus in a hands-on way every single day? Have we got an opportunity for YOU! Tidewater Christian Academy is seeking a teacher for Middle School (6th-8th grade). That person will possess a Christ-like spirit, be full of patience, love, and willingness to learn and grow together. Teamwork and collaboration are key components to success within our school family. Contagious, positive energy and enthusiasm for our mission is also a must! 

Four teachers serve multi-grade classes of no more than 16 students from PreK-8th grade students. The school is in Chesapeake, Virginia. TCA’s mission is to develop Christian characteristics that promote lifelong service and learning.

Multi-grade classroom teaching experience is preferred but not required. 

Applicants should hold valid North American Division Teacher Certification (prefer middle school math certification) and be a Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing. Salary and benefits are based on the denominational wage scale and policy. 

Must be eligible to be employed in the United States.
