Established in 1997, Olney Adventist Preparatory School (“OAPS”), located in Olney, Maryland, is a distinguished Christian educational institution known for its delivery of academically rigorous, compassionate, and personalized instruction to students from kindergarten through 8th grade.

Our school’s mission is deeply rooted in the belief that God has endowed everyone with unique talents and skills. OAPS exists to nurture and develop these gifts, empowering our students to make a positive difference in our communities and lead others toward Jesus Christ.  

We are accredited through the Middle States Association of Schools and Colleges and hold a certificate of accreditation through the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists. 

A Bachelor’s Degree in the field of education is required.  Ideal candidates will be creative and collaborative, with exemplary interpersonal skills. While applicants with at least three years of classroom teaching experience and a Master’s Degree in progress or completed are preferred, this is not a requirement. We are seeking educators who are passionate about Jesus Christ and inspire students to develop a meaningful relationship with Him. Additionally, we value educators who recognize the importance of diversity, embrace ongoing professional development, and are willing to spearhead new initiatives as needs arise.
