Mother Lode Adventist Junior Academy is in an exciting season of growth as we move toward becoming a K–12 school. As part of this transition, MLAJA (also known as CVCA Sonora) is seeking a dedicated, mission-minded educator to join our team.

We are looking for a teacher who can teach Physics and may also teach History, while also serving as our Athletic Director. This position provides meaningful opportunities to be involved in student life through class sponsorship and other extracurricular activities.

At MLAJA, education is rooted in faith, and we are committed to nurturing students academically, spiritually, and socially. The ideal candidate will be someone who values Christian education, is willing to mentor students, and is eager to support their spiritual growth through daily interactions, worship, and service.

Required Experience

We are seeking a candidate who holds NAD secondary credentials or is willing to begin working toward them immediately. While three or more years of teaching experience is preferred, it is not required.

The ideal candidate must be an active member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and share a commitment to Adventist education and ministry.
