Madison Academy seeks a first grade homeroom teacher who is energetic, creative and has a passion for learning. Madison Academy delivers a well-balanced educational experience on a PK-12 Christian campus where students engage, families belong, everybody grows, and Jesus reigns.  We are seeking a teacher who is caring, dedicated and models God’s love. The candidate needs to be a strong team player and must be able to deliver instruction to students using a variety of teaching methods and hands-on activities. Madison Academy is blessed with supportive parents and a large active Church community, located just a short drive from Nashville, TN. 

Required Experience

Candidate must be a committed Seventh-day Adventist who holds current NAD Elementary Certification. Experience in teaching first grade reading and writing skills. Individuals must have the legal right to work in the United States and provide evidence of that right if employed. Masters Degree, trained in UFLI Foundations/Science of Reading, 3+ years of experience preferred.
