Upward Adventist School in Flat Rock, NC is seeking a dedicated, Christ-centered Elementary/Lower Grades Teacher for the upcoming school year. The ideal candidate will provide engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction, integrate biblical principles and Adventist values into daily learning, and foster a nurturing, well-structured classroom environment. Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree in education or a related field (teaching certification preferred) and demonstrate a commitment to Christian education. Flat Rock offers a peaceful, family-friendly setting in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, with easy access to outdoor recreation, a strong sense of community, four mild seasons, and close proximity to Hendersonville and Asheville.  

A qualified applicant must be a committed Seventh-day Adventist who has teaching experience at the middle school level and holds current (or are working towards) NAD certification or is eligible for Conditional certification.
