About our School

Palau Mission Academy (PMA) is a co-educational secondary boarding school located in Ngerikiil, Airai, on the island of Babeldaob, Palau. Serving approximately 120 students in grades 9–12, PMA is a premier institution within the Guam-Micronesia Mission under the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists. Role Description

The Office Secretary serves as the operational hub of the school, reporting directly to the Principal to manage daily administrative functions, personnel logistics, and financial record-keeping. Key duties include overseeing office maintenance and supplies, coordinating student registration and account ledgers, and managing tuition collection through direct communication with parents. Beyond clerical tasks like scheduling and report generation, the role requires a professional, Christ-centered demeanor characterized by the "Fruits of the Spirit" and a commitment to clear English communication and punctuality.

Required Experience

Requirements

  • Must be a baptized and active member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an office secretary role.
  • Must be proficient in both oral and written English to interact effectively with students, parents, and professionals.
  • Must be computer-literate, specifically with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Candidates must demonstrate good physical, mental, and emotional health to manage the demands of a school office.
  • Must be collaborative and able to maintain constructive working relationships with students, staff, and teachers.
  • Work permit will need to be processed and approved.
