About Our School
Yap Seventh-day Adventist School is located on the island of Yap in Micronesia and serves students in grades K–12, with an approximate enrollment of 80 students. The school provides a Bible-based, Christ-centered, and service-oriented education rooted in Seventh-day Adventist beliefs and supported by a close-knit island community.
Role Description
The 7th–8th Grade Teacher is a full-time position responsible for teaching core middle school subjects including Reading/Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Bible, and integrated character and service learning in a small, multi-grade classroom with approximately 10–15 students total. The teacher will be responsible for lesson planning, instruction, classroom management, assessment, and student supervision while integrating Bible-based, Christ-centered values into daily learning. The position also includes fostering a nurturing, service-oriented classroom environment and collaborating closely with colleagues, parents, and the school community.
