Lithonia Adventist Academy (K-8) is seeking a dynamic, Christ-centered educational leader to serve as Principal only. LAA is a fantastic school. Located in beautiful Stonecrest, GA about 30 minutes outside of historic Atlanta, GA. This is a unique opportunity to lead a growing Seventh-day Adventist school committed to academic excellence, spiritual growth, and whole-child development within an extremely supportive board, church and conference community. LAA has 75 student-scholars and each of the 5 full-time teacher teaches two self contained grades or team teaches. You will love the pastor and friendly church, as well as the roll-up your sleeves school board. Here's what the principal candidate will be expected to facilitate:
- Lead a Christ-centered learning environment that fosters faith, character, and academic achievement
- Provide instructional leadership, staff supervision, and professional growth support
- Oversee daily school operations, enrollment growth, and school improvement initiatives
- Collaborate effectively with the school board, pastor, parents, and conference leadership
- Ensure compliance with NAD, Southern Union, and South Atlantic Conference policies and accreditation standards
- Coordinate moving forward the strong strategic plan.
Required Experience
- Active member in good standing of the Seventh-day Adventist Church
- Master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field
- NAD Professional or Administrator Certification (preferred) or State certification
- 3–5 years of successful experience in teaching and/or visionary school leadership
- Strong commitment to Adventist philosophy of education and student spiritual growth
- US citizen; SACOE does not participate in sponsorship.
