Description

Broward Junior Academy is seeking dedicated, mission-driven educators to join our instructional team. We are seeking educators who view teaching as a ministry and are committed to fostering a Christ-centered learning environment that nurtures students spiritually, academically, socially, and physically.

Our school is fully accredited by the North American Division Commission on Accreditation, the Accrediting Association of Seventh-day Adventist Schools, Colleges, and Universities, the National Council for Private School Association, and the Commission on International and Trans-Regional Accreditation.

BJA is nestled beautiful and sunny Broward County, Florida, minutes away from the beaches and a variety family and youth-oriented attractions.

Educators who feel called to serve in a Christ-centered educational ministry and desire to make a strong and lasting impact on students' lives are encouraged to apply and become a part of the Broward Junior Academy family.

There are two available positions:

1- Elementary Teacher

2- Junior High History Teacher

Required Experience

We are seeking enthusiastic and self-motivated educators who:

  • Are active members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in good and regular standing
  • Are legally eligible to reside and work in the United States of America
  • Have a bachelor's degree, and hold denominational certification or are willing to work towards it
  • Support the mission and philosophy of Seventh-day Adventist education
  • Demonstrate strong instructional practices and passion for student success
  • Meet students at their academic and developmental levels while encouraging growth and excellence
  • Integrate faith and learning across the curriculum
  • Utilize instructional technology to enhance student engagement and learning
  • value collaboration, professionalism, and ongoing spiritual and professional development
