Description

Village Adventist Elementary School (VAES) is seeking a 4th grade teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. Our mission is to win our children for Christ and His service. We strive to educate the whole person by including hands-on activities and many outdoor experiences in nature.  We need a teacher who is committed to excellence in more than just academics.  Do you have a missionary spirit?  Are you willing to go the extra mile for your students?  Do you have a personal testimony to share that tells how God has changed your life and are you willing to share it with your students?  These are key questions that we hope will resonate with you.

Required Experience

Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing and active membership in the Seventh-day Adventist Church

Three or more years of teaching experience preferred

 NAD teacher certification or a willingness to pursue certification

the legal right to work in the United States.  Having a strength in math is a plus.

At Village Adventist Elementary School we are creating an educational environment where students can connect in a close, loving, and obedient relationship with their creator God. We have a full time nature specialist on staff; to help us incorporate practical hands-on experimentation, modeling, and outdoor education into the learning experience. We are also focused on teaching our students the joy of serving others through various outreach / mission projects.
