Teacher, Grades, 6-8/ Possibly Principal

Winter Haven Adventist Academy in Winter Haven, FL
Southern Union Conference | Florida Conference
Description

Winter Haven is a beautiful, lake-filled city in the heart of Florida. It is a growing community centrally located to all the major attractions and home to LEGOLAND USA. The Winter Haven SDA Church on Avenue K is the only constituent church for Winter Haven Adventist Academy; however, students come from five area SDA churches and the public, representing an ethnically diverse population. Warm and friendly, the church provides a supportive and caring atmosphere for growing young Christians and has maintained a small school for many years. Recent school growth has increased enrollment to about 65 students.

WHAA has an opening for a dedicated, caring, dynamic, and Christ-filled sixth- through eighth-grade teacher for the upcoming school year (beginning July 1, 2026), who may also be the principal. (The school has two open positions for next year, one of which will include the principal responsibilities.) The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, a collaborative spirit, and a passion for children and educational excellence.
