Cicero Adventist Elementary School is a K-8 school serving approximately 30 students
and growing. The school has a gym, robotics club, music program including chimes,
bells and choir, a supportive board and church, and a family friendly community. Cicero
Adventist Elementary School is a participating school in the Indiana Choice
Scholarship Program which contributes an average of $6,500 towards a student’s
tuition for nonpublic education. The school is supported by the missionary minded
Cicero Seventh-day Adventist Church which features ministries such as Pathfinders,
Teen Leadership Training (TLT), Adventurers, Journey to Bethlehem in December,
Spring Break mission trips, Momco (Mops), Pickleball ministry, and more. Our two
pastors are very involved with our school as are pastors from other SDA area churches.
We are proud to be located in Cicero, Indiana, a vibrant town on the shores of Morse
Reservoir with the White River just 3 miles east. The Three Angels Natural Foods &
Christian Book Store (ABC) and Indiana Academy are less than a mile north. Andrews
University is 2-1/2 hours north. A small town feel in the heart of Hamilton County, and
ranked for the last 30 years as one of the top fastest growing counties in the US and
the fastest growing county in Indiana. Country living abounds with the major draw of a
short 15 minute drive to major shopping districts. Downtown Indianapolis is 34 miles
south, with its arts and cultural sector, the number 1 ranked and world’s largest
children’s museum in the nation, the number 10 ranked best zoo in the nation, and
professional football, basketball and motor racing. We are located 25 minutes from the Indiana Conference of SDA.
We are looking to add a third teacher to our growing school. We are seeking an
enthusiastic and dedicated upper grades teacher who is passionate about Christian
education and committed to inspiring and guiding students in their academic and
spiritual growth. This role involves teaching core subjects, fostering a positive
classroom environment, and supporting students holistically.
Key Responsibilities
• Teach multigrade (upper grades), covering core subjects such as Math, Science,
Language Arts, Social Studies, and Bible
• Plan and implement engaging, faith-based lessons
• Cultivate a Christ-centered and supportive learning environment
• Collaborate with students, parents, and fellow faculty members
• Participate in school and church-related activities
Requirements:
• Must be a committed Seventh-day Adventist with a passion for Adventist education
• Bachelor's degree in education or related field (required)
• Valid NAD teaching certification (preferred) and willingness to obtain Indiana State
licensure
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Strong technology skills
• Ability to integrate Biblical principles into daily instruction
• Experience in multi-grade classroom settings is a plus
• Have the legal right to work in the United States
