Taiwan Adventist International School (TAIS) is seeking a full-time English Literature teacher to join our team beginning in August 2026.  TAIS is a 7th-12th grade boarding school located on the beautiful campus of Taiwan Adventist College in central Taiwan.  Duties would include teaching four classes, class sponsorship, committee membership, and supporting Sabbath programming.  TAIS is accredited by Griggs International Academy (GIA) and the Adventist Accrediting Association (AAA) and offers American high school diplomas to our students from a variety of countries.  TAIS students alternate every other weekend between campus and home.  Free on-campus housing and support for legal immigration to Taiwan is available to all foreign teachers at TAIS.  For more information, please visit our website at tais.tw or email principal@tais.tw.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid government issued and/or SDA denominational secondary teaching certificate with an endorsement in English and be familiar with American curriculum.  Experience teaching English Language Learners (ELL) is a plus but not required.  Candidates should also be dedicated members of the Seventh-day Adventist church who are willing to share Jesus with Christian and non-Christian students.  A commitment to excellence in academics, a strong work ethic, and an ability to work well with students and colleagues from diverse cultural backgrounds are essential.  To join our team in Taiwan, please send a copy of your resume, cover letter, and three references to principal@tais.tw.  Please note that interviews will occur as resumes are received and the position may be filled before the resume due date.
