Description

The School of Business Administration is seeking an Economics Professor who is committed to excellence in teaching undergraduate and graduate students, advising students and lead the doctoral program(s) in the near future. This is a full-time appointment teaching 3 to 4 courses per semester in economics and possibly finance or business administration, research and service activities.
Faculty are expected to maintain a regular on-campus presence for teaching, office hours, meetings and engagement activities.


Duties and responsibilities
Teach undergraduate and graduate accounting courses in face-to-face and online modalities, including, but not limited to:
Principles of Economics
Principles of Macroeconomics
Principles of Microeconomics
Money and Banking
Intermediate Macroeconomics
International Economics
Healthcare Economics & Policy
Managerial Economics
Finance or Business Administration courses, as needed
Direct, Doctoral Business programs
Online and summer teaching required
Assigned committees (after first year)
Research and publishing

Required Experience
  • Minimum – Master's degree or above with a minimum of eighteen (18) graduate hours in economics.
  • Preferred - PhD in Economics, with a minimum of 15 credits in finance and/or business administration.
  • Minimum – Professional experience significant in duration, responsibility and related to the teaching, or at least one-year demonstrated effectiveness in teaching economics at the college or university level.
  • Must have the right to work in the USA.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

Must be a Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing.
