Hinsdale Adventist Academy (HAA), a thriving PK–12 Seventh-day Adventist school located in the historic Village of Hinsdale, just 20 miles from downtown Chicago, is seeking a dynamic and nurturing Kindergarten teacher to join our Christ-centered learning community. As the only full PK–12 Adventist academy in Illinois, HAA is committed to academic excellence, spiritual growth, and intentional discipleship. The school is supported by four constituent churches, Adventist hospitals, and a highly professional and engaged resource board, creating a stable and mission-driven environment for both students and staff.

We are looking for a Kindergarten teacher who brings warmth, professionalism, and a deep love for early learners. The ideal candidate models Christlike character, integrates faith naturally into instruction, and creates a joyful, developmentally appropriate classroom where young children feel safe, valued, and ready to grow. Strong instructional skills in early literacy and numeracy, effective classroom management, and a commitment to differentiated, hands-on learning are essential. Collaboration with colleagues, families, and administration is central to this role, as is active participation in schoolwide worship, events, and professional learning.

Qualified applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree in Elementary education, possess or be eligible for NAD certification, and demonstrate experience working with young children in a school or early childhood setting. Strong communication, organizational skills, and is an active member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
