Maplewood Academy, a private co-educational Seventh-day Adventist high school in Hutchinson, Minnesota, is seeking a mission-driven Principal to lead the school beginning with the 2026–2027 school year.

The Principal serves as the educational and spiritual leader of the academy, responsible for fostering an environment where students can grow intellectually, emotionally, physically, and spiritually in a Seventh-day Adventist setting. This role provides leadership for faculty and staff, oversees school operations and academic programs, and works collaboratively with the Minnesota Conference and the Maplewood Academy Board.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide spiritual, academic, and operational leadership for the academy

Job Requirements

• Active membership in good standing with the Seventh-day Adventist Church
• Faithfully return an honest tithe to the Minnesota Conference
• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Appropriate denominational certification (or ability to obtain certification)
• Strong commitment to Adventist education and student discipleship
• Demonstrated leadership and administrative ability
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating as part of a team
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with standard office technology (Microsoft Office, email, internet)
