This position is for a full-time teacher working in our Middle School as 8th grade home room teacher and departmentalized instructional teacher in the area of science with an interest in starting a strong STEM Lab. Other classes as needed.  Lodi SDA Elementary shares a 40-acre campus with Lodi Academy. We have affordable faculty rental properties on site. We are located approximately 2 hours from the Pacific Ocean, the beautiful Sierra Nevada mountains and nearby to several major cities, including San Francisco & Sacramento. The Elementary School is blessed with approximately 180 students, single-grade classrooms, a full-time principal, full-time music teacher, several full-time instructional aids and a full-time librarian.

We are seeking a warm and caring, qualified and competent teacher who is experienced with tweens and ready to share Jesus in this exciting ministry of education.

• Someone who will seek to build self-esteem, demonstrate positive communication and foster a healthy social climate with students, parents & colleagues. 
• Someone with a knowledge of Standards Based Education, or at least a willingness to join us as we are actively progressing with the implementation of SBE. 
• We are looking for a team player who enjoys collaboration. Experience with Organizational Health is a plus. 
• Any prospective teacher must have Adventist certification, be qualified to work in the U.S and be able to provide proof of such.
