Portland Adventist Elementary School is seeking a principal to guide the spiritual, academic, and administrative life of the school. The principal works closely with teachers, staff, families, and the school board to support a Christ-centered learning environment for approximately 250 students. The role includes overseeing daily school operations, supporting instructional programs, and helping cultivate a school culture that reflects the mission and values of Seventh-day Adventist education.
Located in Gresham, Oregon, Portland Adventist Elementary School is part of the Oregon Conference of Seventh-day Adventists education system. The school is situated in the Portland metropolitan area, which offers a wide range of cultural opportunities including museums, performing arts, and community events. The region is also known for its access to outdoor recreation, with nearby rivers, forests, hiking trails, and the Columbia River Gorge providing abundant opportunities for exploration and outdoor activities.
We are seeking a committed Seventh-day Adventist with a passion for sharing Christ daily with students, teachers, and families. The ideal candidate will have experience as a principal. A master’s degree in educational leadership is preferred. Candidates must have legal authorization to work in the United States. Salary and benefits follow the denominational wage scale and policy.
