About Midland Academy
Midland Adventist Academy is a private Christian school located in Shawnee, Kansas, that serves approximately 150 students in grades K–12 in the Kansas City metropolitan area. Our mission is to partner with families to provide a Christ-centered education that develops students academically, spiritually, physically, and socially. We seek teachers who are passionate about Christian education and committed to helping students grow in both knowledge and character. 

Position Overview
Midland Advenstist Academy is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher to serve as our High School Social Studies and K–12 Physical Education Teacher/Athletic Director. This unique role combines classroom instruction in upper-level social studies with leadership of our physical education and athletic departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Studies, or Physical Education
• Current NAD certification
• Teaching or coaching experience preferred
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Commitment to Christian education
• Legal ability to work in the United States.
