Description

Living Springs Academy in High Springs, Florida is a K-8 school with an enrollment of nearly 40 students. LSA is blessed with strong support from the board, constituents, and the High Springs SDA Church. It is situated at the entrance to Camp Kulaqua, the Florida Conference's youth camp.

LSA has an opening for a dedicated, caring, dynamic Christ-filled kindergarten through second-grade teacher for the upcoming school year. They are looking for someone who is a team player, creative, and who loves children. Applicants for this position must model Christ-like behavior and attitudes which will positively impact students in leading them to Christ.

Required Experience

Applicant must be a tithe-paying Seventh-day Adventist church member in good standing and have the legal right to work in the United States, providing evidence if employed. A minimum of a bachelor's degree with North American Division (Denominational) Teacher Certification is required and must be maintained (or must agree to work towards obtaining NAD Certification). A minimum of three years of successful classroom experience and a strength in early childhood education are preferred.
