Position Summary
Campion Academy is seeking a Dean of Women to provide leadership and supervision
for female students residing in the girls’ dormitory. The dean fosters a safe, structured,
and nurturing residential environment that supports students’ spiritual growth, academic
success, character development, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Model a Christ-centered life and uphold the beliefs, values, and lifestyle of the
    Seventh-day Adventist Church.
  • Provide leadership, organization, and oversight of the girls’ dormitory and its daily
    operations.
  • Foster a safe, structured, and nurturing residential environment that promotes
    student well-being and growth.
  • Serve as a mentor and role model, guiding female students in their spiritual,
    personal, and social development.
  • Promote a positive and respectful dormitory culture consistent with Seventh-day
    Adventist values.
  • Address discipline situations with clear communication, maintaining high
    standards while providing strong support and restorative guidance for students.
  • Build meaningful relationships with students that encourage responsibility,
    leadership, and healthy lifestyle choices.
  • Maintain consistent and proactive communication with parents regarding student
    well-being and development.
  • Collaborate effectively with dorm staff, faculty, and administration to support
    student success and holistic development.
  • Other duties as assigned by administration
Required Experience

Required

  • Active member in good standing of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
  • Strong commitment to the mission and philosophy of Seventh-day Adventist
    education.
  • Demonstrated leadership, organization, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to mentor and work effectively with teenagers in a boarding school
    environment.
  • Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule typical of boarding school residential life.

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, theology, youth ministry, or related
    field.
  • Experience working in a boarding school, dormitory, or youth ministry setting.
  • Experience in student mentoring, counseling, or residential life leadership.

Salary and Benefits:
Salary and benefits are based on the denomination’s wage scale policy for 10-month employment and will be commensurate with experience and credentials.
Legal Requirements:
Individuals must have the legal right to live and work in the United States and provide evidence of that right if employed.
