Description: Pine Tree Academy is seeking a part-time boys’ dean. This long-established day school with excellent academics, music program and varsity sports presently serves 130 students. PIne Tree Academy is a Christ centered school that prepares its students to make a positive impact for God in the world. Not only are we blessed with natural beauty but are home to L.L Bean and other numerous outlets and locally owned shops. The school is only ten minutes from the ocean, and the beautiful White mountains of New Hampshire are less than two hours’ drive. We are also close the rich cultural and historical experiences of Portland, ME and Boston, Massachusetts.
Our dormitories are small, with up to 11 students each, and are a cross between a regular dorm and a home-like setting. The assistant dean will assist the dean with all aspects of dorm life such as supervision, some meal preparation, cleanliness, worship, and parental communication. The assistant dean will have additional responsibilities within the school such as supervision during study halls, teaching classes or other duties as assigned by the school principal.
Boarding academy experience preferred but not required. All candidates must be eligible to be employed in the United States.
